Resident Company Member, Dance Captain
This past summer, John returned to the Forestburgh Playhouse for their 75th anniversary season! While in the Catskills, John was seen as Mark in Altar Boyz and as Linus in You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, as well as serving as the season dance captain.

A COLLECTION OF SCENES FROM SPRING AWAKENING

Last fall, John had the pleasure of choreographing one of Elon Music Theatre's senior capstone projects: A Collection of Scenes from Spring Awakening.

Semester Programme Classical Acting
Last fall, John was planning on attending the London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art to participate in their Semester Programme in Classical Acting; however, due to safety concerns and travel restrictions, he has decided to continue pursuing his degree at Elon University.

Virginia Repertory Theatre
Last summer, John was ready to be in the ensemble of Virginia Rep's Chicago! Directed and choreographed by Nathaniel Shaw and Tyce Diorio respectively, this show was scheduled to run from June 26 - August 9, 2020, but was postponed-indefinitely due to COVID-19.

Last spring, John was assisting director-choreographer Paula Kalustian in Elon's production of Violet. This production was supposed to play Elon University's Roberts Studio Theatre from April 23-28, 2020, but was cancelled due to COVID-19. For a performance from the cast, click on on Violet logo!

WE WILL ROCK YOU
Galileo Figaro
This February, John reprised a favorite role of his: Galileo Figaro in We Will Rock You. This production played Elon's McCrary Theatre February 13-16, 2020.

CABARET
Swing, Dance Captain
Last December at Elon University, John had the joy of working on MT20's Senior Thesis Production of Cabaret. He served as the dance captain, while also understudying the Emcee, Ernst, Bobby, and Victor. The show ran December 4-6, 2019 in the Center for the Arts Black Box Theatre.

DAMN YANKEES
Rocky, Club Dancer
This fall, John performed in Elon University's main stage production of Damn Yankees. The show ran October 31-November 2 and November 7-9, 2019 in Elon’s McCrary Theatre.
FORESTBURGH PLAYHOUSE 2019
Resident Company Member
This past summer, John performed as a resident company member at the Forestburgh Playhouse. There, he played Scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz, Margaret Mead in Hair, and Young Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert, in addition to appearing in the ensembles of The Buddy Holly Story, Me and My Girl, and The Producers.

THE 1940's RADIO HOUR

This past spring, John had the pleasure of working on the creative team for The 1940's Radio Hour. This show played Elon University's Roberts Studio Theatre May 2-6, 2019.

CHROMA: Spring Dance Concert

This past spring, John had the joy of joining the BFA dance majors in Elon University's CHROMA: Spring Dance Concert. John danced in a piece titled "Noir," choreographed by Lauren Kearns. This production played Elon's McCrary Theatre March 14-17, 2019.

SWEENEY TODD
Ensemble
Last Fall, John performed in his first college show: Elon University's main stage production of Sweeney Todd. The show ran October 25-27 and November 1-3, 2018 in Elon’s McCrary Theatre.
JIMMY AWARDS 2018
Best Dancer Award Recipient
Last summer, John had the honor to be the Orlando nominee for the 2018 National High School Musical Theatre Awards. He was nominated for his portrayal of Galileo Figaro in We Will Rock You at Spruce Creek High School. While at the Jimmy Awards, John was hand-picked by Broadway choreographer Wayne Cilento as the recipient for the Jimmy Award for Best Dancer. John made his Broadway debut at the Minskoff Theatre on June 25, 2018.
